Who are CarrickWorks?

Andrew Carrick set up this specialist consultancy in 2019, supported by a network of education experts and associates. Our extensive experience is in creating insight, strategies and campaigns for UK schools content and communications initiatives. We provide strategic consultancy, partnership guidance and campaign/content delivery for organisations looking to work more effectively in education.

"

Andrew shared many priceless insights and ideas during his consultancy with us [at Tes], drawing on his years of effective education marketing and partnership development. He is a pleasure to work with and fitted right in with our commercial team, quickly earned their respect and helped lead a shift in thinking towards a more innovative commercial partnership model.

What do we do?

CarrickWorks focuses on creating the greatest impact for organisations working with the education sector, particularly with schools and colleges but also with parents and young people directly. This can be in a wide variety of areas and channels, all focused on education:

As education communicators and strategists we speak to edtech companies, corporates, charitable, social enterprise and public organisations every day to help them refine and meet their strategic, content and communications objectives in education.

As education practitioners we’re listening to and engaging with schools, colleges, teachers and students, which provides the intelligence and understanding of the ever-changing and challenging world that faces educators.

Who do we work with?

We’ve made a real difference for brands as diverse as TES, NSPCC, UNICEF, Engineering UK, Lloyds, Google, and the Premier League. Most recently we’ve also partnered with many organisations working with schools across age groups and subjects. For example, in careers education, data insights, curriculum content, school video streaming, STEM, environmental campaigning, and heritage outreach.

We’ve covered a range of education communications briefs and tasks for these clients. We’ve designed and delivered marketing campaigns to launch new school programmes for Engineering UK, STEM Learning and Start, and provided research and insight programmes to help create new content and marketing strategies for many others, such as Wren300 and ERA. In addition, we brought our education sector know-how to support TES in rethinking their commercial partnerships model and in supporting the business development of SchoolDash.

And to top it off, they’re brilliant to work with.
